Free & Low-Cost Experiential Learning Opportunities for Children and Youth

The Beyond the Classroom Program by The Sierra Jacob Foundation for Community
Advancement provides children and youth with meaningful educational, cultural, and recreational experiences that extend learning beyond the traditional classroom setting. The program is designed to remove financial barriers, encourage family participation, and create safe, engaging opportunities for children to explore, learn, and grow through real-world experiences.

Program Purpose

Beyond the Classroom offers structured, supervised events that support:
● Hands-on experiential learning
● Social and emotional development
● Curiosity, creativity, and confidence-building
